Abstract
 Aim of study: was to determine the vascular flora Ormanüstü Planning Unit (Karadeniz Technical University Education-Research and Application Forest). 
 Area The research area is under influence Euro-Siberian phytogeographical region represented with a high rate (44%, 288 taxa). Irano-Turanian Mediterranean elements are by 26 (4%) 22 taxa (3%), respectively. Totally 320 (49%) multi-regional or unknown origin. In addition, 33 endemic (5%), 12 rare (1.8%), 5 alien (0.8%) 17 cosmopolitan (2.6%) were identified.
 Material methods: entire study visited periodically plant samples collected from 166 sample plots (1000 m2), then they pressed wooden frames. Approximately 1800 specimens between years 2005 2008 form floristic list.
 Main results: Studies revealed presence 656 (585 species, 62 subspecies 9 varieties) belonging 95 families 354 genera. Of these, (3.4%) ferns 634 (96.6%) seed plants. best-represented as follows; Asteraceae (75), Poaceae (48) Fabaceae (41). According richest genera; Campanula (14), Carex (10), Alchemilla (9) Geranium have greatest number taxa. Highlights: It concluded that important in terms diversity. discovery new species this area, described us published 2009 (Astragalus ansinii Uzun, Terzio?lu & Pal.-Uzun), supports fact.
